that was my understanding also. You know I often question as to why those who think that they are so fanatically religious can speak for their God, don't you think that their God is capable of speaking for himself and if so why would he need one of his fanatical followers to put words in his mouth, that makes absolutely no sense to me, but then again I'm not a believer in that particular Christian religion. Guess that makes me a heathen savage....lol

What's going on? I would expect a perfect and holy God to have better employees here on earth. Maybe God needs to do a better job when screening applicants to be his mouthpieces.
Many are saved some are not. Some are young or misunderstood. People take time to mature from deceptions and bigotry they have due to being guillable or not knowing. Not all are bad, not nearly all. All who believe on and wait for Jesus are saved, and will mature into a great person.

The christian god is a dubious character lacking integrity, so why would his self-appointed representatives be any different?

There is no "Mormon version" of the Bible. We use the KJV.

God is a good god just misunderstood. So exactly are his followers. How is the christian God a dubious character lacking integrity? Most of the stories in the bible are not to be taken literally they are stories designed to build character and morality. It's all in how one reacts to those stories.
