My point is the "it's the law" argument is not a moral argument. That "moral" changes with your location. It's a refusal to look at the ethical conflict.
In Colorado it is a valid argument since in Colorado the baker was in violation of the law.
Not all laws are moral to everyone since morals are subjective. I think that many laws are not moral, but I still have to follow those laws.
Is that really the only card you have to play? I have to go around the country quizzing bakers to see if they refused service for other groups? Oh and the "icky" card. Which is basically saying you are silly for opposing gay marriage.
It is silly to oppose gay marriage. How are you harmed if a gay couple gets married?
Laws change and lawmakers die. God's laws remain forever. Just because the SCOTUS says it is ok doesn't make it any less sinful.

God's laws are for each individual to follow VOLUNTARILY, period. They have no place in secular laws.

No, jeff. You are bigoted for wanting to discriminate against people who break whatever rules you THINK your God wants us to follow. You are trying to be God and ENFORCE His laws on others. That is NOT how it works. You are to impose them on YOURSELF, period, no one else. You have no right to discriminate against anyone because of what you THINK your God wants.

The Taliban and ISIS operate on the same principle. They, too, are intolerant of the LGBT community. They, too, do not believe in equal rights for all. They, too, want to impose their religious beliefs on everyone else.

Do you think when a lawmaker dies, a law becomes null and void? Your religious laws stem from an unenforceable, superstitious, belief system based on faith, not fact. Stop trying to compare our legal system to your belief system.
Yes, I'd kinda hoped that the claims you make would be backed up by actual evidence from here in reality. Call me an optimist.
