A local Christian pastor fixed a neighbor's computer. I'm told all it needed was some virus removal and he had to remove the old version of Norton's in order to install a new antivirus, but he did it for free. No strings attached, no money exchanged. He spent a couple hours of his time in their home on short notice and didn't ask for anything in return.
Yes, I do things for people for free. I've done things for free for strangers who were willing to pay me, but I declined the money.
I'm an atheist.
The intent of my post was certainly not to suggest that atheists are incapable of such things. Good for you, that's great if you do those things for your friends and neighbors.
In this case there was no one else to do it. It's a small town in a rural area where there just aren't a lot of computer-savvy people.
But...are you suggesting that Christian pastors can be good neighbors? Because all I hear around here is that Christians are a drain on society.
Anyone can do a good deed, including a pastor. Now if you can tell us about verified miracles performed by pastors, perhaps you'll blow us out of the water.

You believe God does miracles today through pastors?

Then pray tell just what exactly is a the point in posting threads about pastors doing good things when the same can apply to anyone?
It is a counterpoint to cupper unearthing bad clergy.
Oh...right! Pointless then.
