Not really. It's one thing to tell the congregation that certain lifestyles are not in line with Christ and quite another for someone to come here and point to certain individuals by name for their failings.
The publicly try and SHAME what they deem as deviant behavior and usually they are the FIRST in the men's bathroom at the airport..
Sex and religion are inevitably linked. Sorry to say, it is usually repressed sexuality, governed by religion, as a defense mechanism.
I have often wondered about this. Christians with "kinks" seem so common or OTOH is it just that it seems so gasp-worthy by comparison to us heathens putting on the schoolgirl and angry taskmaster outfits and riding each other around the living room?
It just SEEMS like there's a weird tie-in between over-religiousness and over-sexuality and/or kinks. I thought I read a stat on here once about a higher percentage of Christians than other religions (or non-religious) visiting porn stores but I can't vouch for the actual numbers, nor whether that was just the whole number (obviously Christians will outnumber everybody else in the U.S. just standing there, much less visiting a porn store).
Maybe GldnRule will be along, I feel like he'd know.

This, this this this...THIS is what makes kinky Christians stand out more so than kinky non-Christians...it's the hypocrisy factor.
The rest of us just flat-out admit that we like sex...and we don't wag our fingers telling other people NOT to do it. We figure: choose wisely, wrap it up, make sure everyone's legal and then go to town, not my business.

I don't know any ministers who tell people sex is a bad thing. But even non-Christian schools tell the students it is better to wait. Are all school teachers sex addicts due to that? Geesh!
No, that is actually unusual. It is improper to paint with such a broad brush all ministers due to a few bad ones.
This is true, and it's what people do. Look at Catholic priests. Fewer than 1% are pedophiles, yet it's a suspicion and label now slapped onto all of them.

You need to understand what is going on in the spirit world. Satan hates God's people and is constantly looking for a way to ruin their lives. Exploiting men's God given sexual desire for evil is the fastet way to not only ruin a person's lives but cause consequences that can echo for generations. It's the equivalent of a nuclear bomb.
Christians need to be shielded from such attacks, and one problem is that churches are so uncomfortable with the topic that they just pretend sexual desire doesn't exist. I think this video would be an excellent teaching tool for Christian men because it shows the dark horrible other side of the fence. This is what happens to women in the porn and sex industry. Then they can know this is the face of women who you are lusting after with your sinful desires. Praise God that this woman was rescued and has a new life in Christ. She would have no hope in the athiest world.
Well, Jeff I don't say that this pastor or even yourself are typical of Christianity.
