Might as well call this the eggshell generation. With all the major problems going on, people are throwing a fit over a church sign joke? A bit insensitive, but I seriously doubt the intent was to be disrespectful or mean to disabled people
I agree. I don't see it.
Calling this insensitive is on the level of avoiding the topic of death or a loved ones name after they died. Such things more often than not are so tiresome and offensive it is hard to believe it is motivated by sensitivity rather than their own icky hangups. This seems the same to me, more about their own desire to pretend that handicaps don't exist and wanting handicapped people to keep away from "decent" people. Suffice it to say that excessive sensitivity is more a sign of prejudice like some kind of overcompensation.
