"Beware," Jesus warned them. "Watch out for the Leaven (all-or-nothing thinking) of the Pharisees (Theists) and that of Herod (Atheists)".

A little leaven leavens the whole lump.

All-or-nothing thinking is like a computer virus. Once you are infected it affects your whole mind.

one way they infect you is by making you angry

the point is that leaven is so tiny you can barely even tell its there yet it is powerful and dangerous

Yes, I agree! Be careful!
You don't want to risk accidentally thinking rationally. Don't let anyone try to trick you into doing so.

Once you start thinking rationally, it makes it hard to ever understand how you thought so bizarrely before.

leaven was the rising yeast that was in bread , which was puffed up the bread , so Jesus says to not be puffed up in pride , as a proud person would have there nose in the air as they were puffed up and indifferent

Yes being puffed up would be an example of all-or-nothing thinking
