I have to echo Otr's post..I am ready anytime the Lord wants me to come home, but I don't think the children and grands are.I have had talks with each one individually, mainly to convince that I have no fears of death or the afterlife..I keep the talks as light hearted and fun as I can, because I want them to remember our talk about death..I have reminded them that as their parent or grandparent they carry part of me in the very blood that flows in them and the parts of my physical appearance and emotional traits that they have inherited from me (that really gets funny between us)..They know what my plans are for a memorial service and burial and that Ihave made those plans and paid for them, to help ease pain of them having to deal with it..That would be my final act of my love for them in this world..
Yeah, I know what you mean but spending an evening at the morgue seems so dull. I think I'm just going to watch a little tv, get something to eat and go to bed.
Yep, my affairs are pretty much in order. I wish I had more time to travel but apart from leaving my grieving partner behind me, I would be ready to go feet first.
Feeding the worms shouldn't require too much advance notice. Regrets ? Of course but nothing major.
I'm with the others, I'm ready but my family would not be ready!! I feel I still have a lot of livin left to do. So, hopefully I will wake tomorrow to shovel more SNOW!!!
Come on Troop, check'n out while your young, that's the easy way out!!
If I answer the question: If you died tonight would you be ready to go? yes I'm ready. For my loves one, I have made arrangements that will support their needs for years to come.
The OP directs you to another question: Are you ready to loose someone that you love? The answer will be no....
