"Thoughts are seeds" an age old philosophical edict.
Few would deny thoughts, we all have them. Yet they can not be seen, touched, tasted, felt, or heard. There is no real proof they exist, they are of the unseen. No scientific understanding of how they work, what causes thought? We can use equipment to see when someone says they are thinking, yet we don't know what or why they are thinking or where the thought originated.
Science can't really prove thoughts truly exist, they are not tangible, you cant put them on display.
Yet we see the results of thought everyday, in creativity, invention, relationships, events, communication.
How does the existence of thoughts compare to the existence of God?
We see the results, yet don't see the prime mover?
Exactly, you can also say the same thing about love. I would like to hear certain takes on this as well.
Love is a measurable chemical reaction in your brain. Feels damned good, and when it's taken away you go through withdrawals and generally try to find it again. Let me tell you, the withdrawal is a b*tch.

I hear that. So what about the OP, about thoughts? I'd really like to know your thoughts on it.
Thoughts are seeds, very true indeed. It goes back to the law of attraction. What you're feeling and the thoughts that you create, end up creating your own destiny.

I really don't see thoughts as any comparison to proving there is a God.. We know through science discoveries that thoughts come from the brain..We can see the brain in images on equipment and see the workings of it..We can see, feel, touch and dissect the brain from a corpse..We know that every "thought, every beat of our hearts and every breath we take and every cell in our body reproduces because of specific areas of the brain..We cannot do this with God as he is a thought and we cannot physically see or touch any part of a physical part of him..That IMO has to come from faith which cannot be explained to peopole as a thought process, simply because we also know that there are certain chemicals in the brain that can affect our thought process into forming a personality which people can see and hear..I can't prove the existance of God except to someone who already has decided in his thoughts that there is one..

Do they really come from the brain, or is the brain the processor of them?
Are chemicals really capable of creating thought?
If so, how do they align and how do we prove it?

Your post seems to be attmpting to make the case that all intangible entities are equally substantial. Have I misread it?
Freedom, I am not a biologist, researcher, chemist and certainly not a philosopher..I know basic anatomy and the functions of different organs of the body..Based on my limited knowledge, thoughts originate and are processed in the brain..IMO, ( I am not sure if this is what you are asking) but my faith is a thought process that is nurtured by the Spirit of God who may or may not be embedded in my thought process..What I perceive as proof of God, others may perceive as delusional thoughts...I cannot prove God , you cannot prove God, even though both of us believe he exists, and we see what we "process" as proof all around us, the unbeliever may perceive as our delusion..

Wanting to explore similarities and connective reasoning. Where do you think thoughts come from?
