Asalamu alikum (Peace be upon you all)!

I think this is a very serious and important question to ask that what Law or Rules can ERADICATE Crimes in our society like Murder, Robbery, Rape, Adultery, Prostitutions, Drugs, Alcoholism, Gangs and etc...

My question is how to ERADICATE these crimes from face of the earth and what law or rules can do that??!!

There are two options

1: The Law of God Almighty

2: The Law of Humans

The law of God Almighty includes the commandments in his holy book and the law of humans are as we are witness of their impact in the world.

So which one do you think can bring PEACE and Eradicate these crimes forever that even a person will not even think about the crimes.

Crime is a result of evil, and it certainly is true that evil is not restricted by law, but the law is not always justice.
Sometimes to do good you have to break the law.

Why are those the only two choices? Neither works.

How about treating all people with dignity and respect.

BTW, alcoholism is not a crime; neither is adultery.

I can see where this is going already.

Small problem here...who's God? And, who's holy book do we use? Should we all be forced to worship the same God, in order to eradicate crimes in society? Or, could we, perhaps, worship the God of our choice, or no God at all, as the case may be, so long as we remember to treat others as we would like to be treated? Regardless of our spiritual or secular beliefs, I believe Chielgirl has the right idea, that of dignity and respect. That would would pretty well cover our interactions with our fellow human beings, if we would put them into practice.

I think we should follow religious rules and erradicate all infidels. I think we should follow religious doctrine and kill all non believers and declare them as witches. I think we should follow religious instructions and crucify anyone that claims they are the some 'son of god'.

1) Rules based on religion vary according to those religions
2) I WILL NOT live in a theocratic state. If you want to do that, I suggest you move to saudi arabia or one of those other theocratic states there. There is no such thing as predjudice and hypocrisy as associated with theocracy. "you violated my religious rules, you need to die or be mutiliated".

Except when this deity is the one that does the killing. Since it is OF COURSE ok to kill all the non believers with a massive flood, among many other killings that 'god' did in the old testament.

Religious law is flawed because it is instituted by humans, which under the circumstances in which religious law is implimented, usually have no oversight and thus result in abuses.

as-salamu alikom, i know that phrase im studying alil arabic. lol but your question is flawed brother. first, they are basically the same. also dont you feel god is quite capable of enforcing his law. which brings me to its impossible. there will always be crimes/suffering/evil/horrible things no matter what we do. otherwise wed be in heaven

Except that it is not the deity that kills, but the people who believe in the deity.
Besides floods, tornado's, earthquakes etc are acts of nature and it are the religious people who interpret these disasters as punishments from God.

It has nothing to do with "laws."

It has to do with how you raise your children.
