Yes and no. At the most basic level atheism (a-theism) simply means without theism. A person who does not have a religious belief is an atheist, and it doesn't mean any more than that.
People aren't simple though. We all throw modifying adjectives on ourselves. Conservative, liberal, male, female, Asian, European, INTJ, ENSP, rich, poor, secular humanism, skeptic.
Atheists can be any of those things. I am an atheist who is of European descent with progressive liberal views. I am upper middle class and my humanist values drive me to donate to charity. I support freedom of expression, so I support the ACLU. Blah, blah, blah.
Other atheists will agree with me on some of these things, but not others. Same thing with theists. The only thing that I have in common with all other atheists is lack of belief in god.
And perhaps that's the whole point if you look at the reciprocal.
The common thing between theists is the affirmation of belief in God. Which makes you wonder if the point made in video in the OP (that I have not seen) is generally common between both camps?

True. Theists believe in god, which instantly begs the question, which god and what are the characteristics? How does that tend to influence your other beliefs and behaviours.
I have not seen the video but aren't there different types of Atheists as well? I think I have seen a few different definitions of Atheism where one Atheist does not fully agree with another Atheist when it comes to explaining the Atheism.
All an atheist is, is someone who does not believe in any god. Period. No more, no less. There are liberal, socialist, conservative, alt-right, secular, alcoholic, teetotalers, humanists, prejudiced, and any other category you may want to slot kind of atheists.
The only thing they all have in common is that they do not believe in any god or gods. Simple. Not complicated.
Not really old horse because in reality, what you have is each ice cream claiming that it should be the only flavour that should be allowed to be sold
Not true. I'm a Baptist, but I've worshipped with other denomination and felt "at home" with my Christian brothers and sisters. I think I could easily be a Lutheran.

Well, I am a Presbyterian at heart- a deacon. Was at an Assembly of God for a number of years. I place music once a month at a local Lutheran church, but am a member at an Evangelical Free church. They all agree on the core teachings of the Bible. They just differ on things like mode of baptism, style of worship and whether speaking in tongues is something we do today. Stuff like that.
Just because some YouTube video or an atheist website says otherwise doesn't make it true.

But, the question is, if you use critical thinking, is it false? If so why? Don't look at the source, look at what is being said. Then think if you can reconcile it in your own mind, and if not, why not? What elements are missing?

There is the small problem of the Holy Spirit. Something nonspiritul people fail or cannot or unwilling to understand. Critical thinking says well, let's look at what is going on. You think God stuff is BS. I know otherwise. Don't ask me to provide "proof". As I have experienced over the last 10 years you'll just dismiss it. Been there. Just understand we differ. Thanks to years of internet posting I've learned a thing or two. There is nothing I could post that would change your mind. Agreed?
“The easy confidence with which I know another man's religion is folly teaches me to suspect that my own is also.”
