Wow, what a video. It should not be viewed as an attack video on faith, but one that at least asks those of faith (any faith, not Christianity, or Islam or Buddhism) to think of why one believes what one does, and how do you know it is the truth, or is it just the truth for you?
Moderators, please move this to Atheism sub-forum if you feel it does not belong here. I think it does.
Beginning at about 3:50 in the video, the statement is made that "within Christianity alone there are more than 45,000 different denominations, each claiming to understand ultimate truth better than all the others."
Disregarding the questionable source of that figure, most denominations of Christianity do not vary on basic doctrine.
Claiming that each of 45,000+ denominations understand the ultimate truth better than all the others, then, would be a quite stretch.
That's like saying that there are no religious differences (or they should be disregarded -or not used as an argument against religion, more like) because they all at base agree on god -belief.

what corvette is saying the core beliefs of most denominations are the same. Or put it another way all ice creams are basically the same in their core ingredients. Milk, cream sugar, salt. What sets the different types apart is the flavorings. Vanilla, chocolate, strawberry or what have you. So it is with Christian denominations.

Not really old horse because in reality, what you have is each ice cream claiming that it should be the only flavour that should be allowed to be sold

Said it better that I could. And in fact it is atheists who tends to regard Christians as 'all the same' and the Christians who take time out from telling each other they are Interpreting it all wrong and damning each other as 'not real Christians' to assure us that they 'are not That kind of Christian'.
So far the responders have missed the core premise of the video.
You are the religion where you are born, the religion of the greater society you live in. Born in Ireland in 1922? You were Catholic. Born outside of Bavaria in 1937? Most likely Lutheran. Born in Calcutta in almost any year? Hindu. Born in the Middle East in the 1930's? Almost certainly a Muslim. Etc. etc.
You are the religion that you are most likely not of a conversion into that religion, but because of where you were born. Doesn't that create some questions in your mind of your faith?

No. The religion I was born into is obviously the one true faith. I'm too special and important to have been born into a false religion.

Yep, I've said this very thing at least 50 times on this forum, but that doesn't matter. Nothing does.
Which is why I sometime take a dim view of religion. It does something to the mind, like any psychotropic drug, that literally changes reality for the believer.

At that point, nothing gets through.
The trick is to use that psychology for political gain. Tell the mind-numbed religious robots that the neighboring country is full of heathens and heretics, and the religious robots will happily go to their deaths in a war against the evil ones. As a king, I just took over a whole nation without having to lift a finger.
