Jesus Christ is the founder of the church were I go , were it is a non denominational church which people got together who left the traditional church and started a new church ..... the leaders got their authority to minister from a teaching based ministry based in NY , and this gave them the right to marry people and other legal authority but they did not dictate their teaching of the ministry from NY on our leaders ...... The church has doctrine of the lead in the spirit of God through Jesus Christ
I'm interested in learning about different religious and spiritual and atheist core beliefs and think this thread will be educational at the very least. It may even lead to a take away or two if enough people participate. What I'm asking is for people to:
1. State your religion or the group of people your beliefs are associated the closest to. If you're Christian, please state your denomination
2. Who is the "founding person" of your beliefs?
3. If the person could connect with every person on earth today and give a short 3 sentence or less message, what do you think that message would be?
Also, so the thread doesn't get derailed please no personal attacks and don't argue with people's opinions or beliefs.
Are you asking who founded Christianity in its entirety? as in who founded the environment as endowed with qualities and phenomena delineated through the word of God, who founded the texts, who founded the path, etc?

It's kind of vague, but that's somewhat on purpose since religious beliefs differ so much. So I would expect most Christians to say Jesus Christ, but you could also answer about who founded the church if you're part of a certain denomination. No right or wrong answer, just how you would describe things to someone like myself who is interested in learning more.
