Right...symbolically...because nobody could look at it and really say it was a piece of meat. Or could they?
Which makes me think of something related -- if Christ was a god, then it wouldn't be cannibalism because he is not human (at least now) and since cannibalism is eating your own kind, then...well, by default it can't be cannibalism because humans aren't gods.

Well, having seen the "ritual cannibalism" taunt thrown many times towards those practicing communion...
...it's rather like when someone accuses me of something ridiculous just because I'm an atheist.
That's the first I have ever heard about "ritual cannibalism", but then again I am new around here, well relatively new. And would you look at that, believers and athiests have something in common, being misunderstood.

I've heard it many times...generally spoken by the type of non-believer that I really don't want to be associated with.
