Yes, it is the "religion" section, and Mystic described how he encountered God and found to his perception that the life and ministry of Jesus best matched what he found. He did NOT say anything about it being the only way, but he is talking about a religion (in forum terms) just as YOU are talking about Judaism.... there is also a Judaism section.

That's never stopped a lot of Godless people. Why would it stop me? Why would it stop you? I see no reason to believe you or anyone else would suddenly be good for the sake of being good. I'm firmly convinced the only reason society functions peacefully as a whole is because government has the ability to punish bad people.

How old are you ...my circle of friends know that feeling is the 'thing'....I'm from the Flower Children Generation, afterall....we want peace and love....WE know the difference.
I am surrounded by friends that only do good and are selfless....it feeeeels gooooood....many are atheist.
He may not have said that Christianity is the only way in so many words, but he did say that "the fact that the descriptions and action of Jesus validate my experience and NOT yours should cause you some genuine concern". He also said "I can only assume the G-d you encountered is something else."
Is there another way to interpret those statements other than Christianity is THE correct religion?
You need to read more carefully. This dispute is about the NATURE of God, NOT any particular religion ABOUT God and we are comparing experiences of that nature.
You can assume away. But eventually you have to MATURE, and get off the milk. G-d disiplines His sons, else they are not sons. Peace
Since the carnal milk was required over 2000+ years ago, I am satisfied that my views and understanding informed by over 2000+ years of spiritual evolution and information is more likely to be the MATURE one than your adherence to the ancient one.
Don't worry, weird things happen in internet typing these days. I'll have a thought about a 'Pneuma's god' thread. Mainly how I can just listen and not start arguing about it, as I usually do. Obviously there would need to be some prompting Qs...I'll think about it.
Not to drag this further off topic, but I was a bit concerned when I responded to Rbbi's post about the 66 books in the Bible. When I posted it, her post actually had 666 books in it. I then edited my post to point out the irony of the typo and when I posted it her post had 66 in it. Then I edited my post to remove the typos comment. Weird!!
