God through Jesus and the Bible has given Christians an excellent foundation to build on and put into practice
You must love YHWH with your whole soul, mind, strength, and heart
You must love your neighbor as yourself
Pray for your enemy
Show respect for men (people) of all sorts (gay, straight, Muslim, Jew, Buddhist, Shinto, black, white etc)-1 Peter 2:17
Know that God's Kingdom will sort things out as indicated in Daniel 2:44 and reiterated by Jesus including but not limited to the Lord's Prayer (let your kingdom come AND WILL take place on earth...).
It's not a Christians job to force change through violence, coercion, intimidation, etc. It is a Christians assignment to spread the good news of the kingdom and let people decide

It is no more than any good parent would require of their children.

Reason: fixed quote tag
It is no more than any good parent would require of their children.
"good parents" do not "require their children" to proselytize.
rather, good parents recognize how and why proselytizing is problematic, and instill instead in their children the values of dignity and respect towards others.
"good parents" do not require their children to proselytize.
rather, good parents teach their children NOT to proselytize.
No one is talking about proselytizing but you, Tzaph. Spreading good news is NOT proselytizing. It is just spreading the good news. People are free to react to it any way they wish.

Exactly
So for some of us, it could be a good news, and for others it could be a bad news and there will be those to whom this news will be irrelevant. So which one is it?

So, what's your point? For the person spreading the good news, it is good. Others are always free to think otherwise.
