Suffice it to say..there is a pervasive loving Being everywhere...trust Him, exp Him at all costs...and thus,
you will understand and love Him more than anything...there.
No. Sometimes it would be nice to address the OP of a thread...it tends to keep things from getting so personal.

Yes, MissH, let's keep things cold and impersonal, please. That's how spirituality is supposed to be.

It's not really answerable. All we can know is what did happen.

We do know that God put them there to take care of the garden, and to worship him. We know that they did not catch him by surprise. Although they had free will, he knew what would happen, and he knew that he'd one day redeem them by dying on a cross.

I have.

In two languages. Compared them side by side, verse for verse.

It made me the strong atheist I am. Go for it, you too can be set free!

Where does it say Adam and Eve (if they existed) were to worship god? Chapter and verse please.

He had fellowship with them. God would come and spend time with them. Just read it.

First thing GOD told me was don't ask. If he wanted you to know he would tell you.

Every word written about GOD was written by men for their purpose.

You were given free will, don't use it to abuse others.

Even those of us who do not take it to be a literal story can find discussion material in what a story represents.

Yeah, and kind of unoriginal. It's as if somebody thinks they are going to get a prize for being the 500th person to roll up and shout, "yulk yulk yulk, it's just a fairy tale!".

You won't. No. 500 drove through years ago.

And he stitched them up. And all mankind afterwards. With fellowship like that, we can do without it.
