Can someone explain what the hatred for the Jews is based on? (God, Christians)

Jews, along with Muslims, gays, blacks, Pagans, Hispanics, or anyone else you can think of are hated because they are "not like us." They are "different" or they are "going to take away what I have." There always has to be a boogyman or a scapegoat for all of your woes. It's THEIR fault for what ails you-you can't get a job because "they" (whichever "they" you want-the Jews, the Muslims, etc) took them all or will take them all.
My question is what is it with Jews & Chinese food? And for the record, I am half Jewish-and yes, the Jewish side of my family LOVED Chinese food (as do I).

A lot of these things are valid, people fight for a certain way of life and when that way of life is threatened it is time to fight again. The only reason we don’t see more fighting is because the world has some of the largest police states in the world. There are a lot of angry people in the USA who are only tempered by the extreme power and reach of our police state.

Is hated for the Jews based entirely on the belief that the Jews were responsible for the death of Jesus? Or is there more to it than that?
I think modern day hatred of Jews is envy. Despite persecution Jews as a group did not need affirmative action to progress. There were occasions that universities such as Harvard proposed quotas on the number of Jews that would be accepted due to over representation.
Most mainstream Christians these day recognize Jesus as the "Jewish" carpenter. He was born and raised as a Jew attending the various festivals and synagogues. The earliest Christians were Jews (apostles, the people in the synagogues who accepted Jesus as the Messiah, etc) He died because he allowed himself to be put to death.

Indeed - one needn't look far to see who is attacking Christianity (and Christmas, as an example) in America. Another example to answer the OP.

Is this the only retort that now comes from you people?
If you don't think that some of these things that people are posting (answering the OP) have merit, why don't you debate their merit, and not attack people as BIGOTS!!! and RACISTS!!!

Criminalizing "you people" - like you guys did with Ross Perot.
