Their dietary laws helped them...it said. How? I don't rem....maybe their immune systems were better?

The Jews did get the black plague, they just had better survival rates . This is probably for more than one reason. They were often isolated in ghettos. Their laws meant they washed more than Christians, they bathed once a week, and they had to bury their dead. They were far more clean than the Christians.
Here on the Rhine they were then blamed for the plague and then murdered.
God be thanked for the Plague, it gave us just the excuse we needed! I think the worst we had was the York massacre. But then the Merchant of Venice...it's like ...so many fine artworks. You have to grit your teeth and look past the message to the art. It's like 'Turn the Girl' stories.
Is this the only retort that now comes from you people?
If you don't think that some of these things that people are posting (answering the OP) have merit, why don't you debate their merit, and not attack people as BIGOTS!!! and RACISTS!!!
A lot of these things are valid, people fight for a certain way of life and when that way of life is threatened it is time to fight again. The only reason we don’t see more fighting is because the world has some of the largest police states in the world. There are a lot of angry people in the USA who are only tempered by the extreme power and reach of our police state.
