My father died in 2011. He told me of some of the experiences he had before I existed. I was around before my children existed. I know from direct experience that there was existence before they existed. I am still around today. I have direct evidence that existence has continued now that my father no longer exists. I therefore have every reason to suppose that existence will continue on after I have ceased to exist. I simply will no longer be present to share in it.
You are composed of material that has existed since long before you existed. After you die, this material will go on to be other things.
