I think your faith is in the right direction. But Baptist fundamentalism can also lead to things like Westboro Baptist. It goes too far in one direction.
There are good dreams to have. And the reason Jesus is so popular is because of the truth behind his miracles.
I think that atheists have the same dream for ending hunger and have the same belief that it can be ended with social justice.
