Don't you just love it when Todd Bentley gets his Fred Flintstone on.

Well, it would seem like Miss Hepburn's Santa is more responsive than your god, huh?
Hope for her sake that he doesn't just come once a year
Thinking about it, many would be happy if your god "delivered" even only once a year

A while back a (regular) poster dm'd me that he and some of the others were only here for entertainment purposes. In essence, he was stating not to take the forum too seriously.

Santa is a pretty good guy. I'd ask him for things, but since I am getting more and more into Non-materialism, my Christmas list consists of so very few things that I don't want to even bother him for it. There may be people out there who have far greater needs than I do.

Fictional creatures usually are more responsive to perceived expectations.

As long as you think God is beholden to you, he will disappoint you every single time. He's God, not you, not me, not anyone on Earth. We don't get to decide what he should or should not do.

That's ok in smaller doses, i.e. not taking it too seriously. I have however seen how that angle can end up as entrenched / stubborn cynicism, ...and yet people think it is and still call it innocent humour. It's not. Cynicism is rooted in fear ultimately, and is a prison of limitations, and death. I state it as fact, but obviously, no one has to believe a word I say. 😁 Just sayin.

Seems about right. On most forums, they're referred to with a words starting with a "T". But it seems we have a lot of them around here, and they run the place.

If so, why?
Why would you worry about anyone being bothered or not if Santa is already getting it all to you?

I wouldn’t even open this thread if I was you.
