No one is a third of Yahweh ( The Tetragrammton only applies to Yahweh - Psalm 110 )
Out of LOVE. Out of love and enjoyment of life God first created heavenly spirit creation, and then expanded His 'business of creation' to include the earthly material and physical realm of existence to enjoy life.
Adam and Eve had all they needed to enjoy endless life on Earth.
Because of breaking God's law then Adam passed down to us his acquired human imperfection.
Since we can't stop sinning we die. If we could stop sinning we would Not die.
I would Not us the word invent for Jesus, but God needed to send someone sinless to help us.
We can't resurrect oneself or another, so we need someone who can resurrect us - Jesus can and will - Rev. 1:18.

Which, to many Buddhists would be impossible since most do not believe in god.

Sounds like "my god is better than your god."

Didn't sound like that to me...Buddha isn't God or a God....mind you I like Buddha.

Love God?

How do you do it?

Agape love, unconditional love...how do you accomplish that state?
Thanks
Ah,the unconditional love thingie...
Ok, this may have been mentioned but I didn't go through all the posts to see...

For me? It's a conscious decision. It goes against human nature obviously. Some guy cutting down my beloved shade tree---my "gut" says, "God, deal with that heathen...smote him for me!" OR, I just wanna go over and punch him. Either, or.

Again, it's a decision to say no to self. As you said...it's Agape...it has no pre-qualifications, it's not conditional.

It's what I feel I'm called to...that's why I could tell the atheists over in that forum that, from my heart, I love and care about them and MEAN it even if I don't know them. We're polar opposites in our beliefs, but---love overrides that.

It's hard...but, it's real. And....I admit....I don't have it totally down yet, ya know? I have...."My Days".

Just one guy's humble opinion to a very good question.

Well, as it is written;

"The man who keeps the commandments he has from me is the man who loves me and the man who loves me will be loved by my Father, I too shall love him and reveal myself to him."

"The man who loves me keeps my word and my Father shall love him and we shall come and dwell within him. "

I love the Lord and I keep His word.

Jesus summed it up nicely---- Man does not live by bread alone, but by every utterance from God and at Matthew 7:21--He assures all--Only those living now to do his Fathers will get to enter his kingdom.
