Its not an all or nothing proposition either. Its that it can happen, not that it has to happen. Common sense says its valid.
Are you referring to this study?

Why wouldn't any smoke exposure (to excessive levels) cause some brain damage?

"manipulated" in what way?

In science, the term "manipulation of data" simply means "mathematically working with and grouping the data in different ways." It means "handling the data."

It is similar as their use of the term "theory" to not just mean "an idea."

It is a way to self-criticize and bring humility because after all, even great and backed up thoughts could be "wrong ideas" and ways of working with data can be "wrong."

or, is fundy theism and millimental atheism a genetic personality disorder passed down? Could we see that in brain scans?

Hmmm?
Yes, it could possibly. Are you going to pay them to study it double-blind?
You see, research requires planning and funding.

lmao, yeah, they pay for such projects maybe I can get some cash for this.

but in reality, if we line up personality disorders and predict how they might express atheism and theism it would make good predictions. So we can save some money.

You are WAY too obsessed with trying to make atheists into the same as fundies. Maybe you should get checked for brain damage. I mean, that kind of obsessive behavior has to come from somewhere.

I am not so sure that you understand Imiss.

I in no way make atheist look like fundies. I have never said that. Its you doing that.

What I say is that we atheist have fundy-think types in our ranks too. I say that I am not siding with a fundy-think type atheist over a statement of belief about god. I will side with people based on liberty and justice for all.

you tell me exactly where your claim is more valid than my claim?

No, I understand just fine. You keep talking of atheists and fundamentalists in the same way, over and over again. You don't "make atheists look like fundies", you simply compare them and act as if they are two sides of the same coin. Which is just ignorant at best.

There are "fundy-think types" in every group. Literally all of them. No one has disputed that, yet you bring it up on just about every thread, and compare fundamentalists to "millimental" atheists, and stuff like that. My point, is your obsession with doing so seems unhealthy. Why are you so obsessed with constantly comparing atheists to fundies, even when it has no bearing on the thread itself? Especially since you claim you are an atheist, which I still don't buy since nothing you say sounds like you are an atheist.

I assumed that Richard was using"manipulated" here in the sense of "fraudulant or falsified." Perhaps the first study described in this article?
