I spoke to my nurse advocate with my health insurance plan. Because of my epilepsy, I am not able to drive even though I'm only in my 40s and I was pleasantly surprised that she found an alternative rural transport van lift service for me that is offered through the county. Not only is it more reliable, it is far cheaper than Lyft ($3.50/one way in the county.) I'm going to try it!
They can’t do anything if OP didn’t rate the driver.
I wasn't able to because the research lab hired them, not me. I did not pay for the ride so I could not rate the driver. But Lyft had the record of the ride so after they got my message, they set it up so they wouldn't pair us up again.

I have a corporate account - there is always a rating screen for any passenger (and the driver rates you as well). Always a place for tip, too (which you probably didn’t want to give in this situation).
