The Bible is our authority; the teachings of men are worthless.
Does God love the sinners in hell? The Biblical answer is "no." In fact, God hates all workers of iniquity (Psalm 5:5). How will you escape God's wrath, as all have sinned (Romans 3:23)? The only way to escape condemnation to be in Christ Jesus; for those in Christ Jesus, there is no condemnation (Romans 8:1).
That's what is so unique about christians...they confuse love and hate.
One of the things that many people cannot get their head around, is a punishment that lasts FOREVER.
What on earth could anyone do, to warrant such a punishment?
It really makes no sense, and is simply beyond comprehension.
Many people that have experienced Hell on the other side (through NDE's etc), have said that this was just, and the punishment for their sin, whatever that may be, was perfectly justified.
Is this just an extreme case of Stockholm Syndrome?
How could anyone not object to it?
If there is not a universal bridge, or an area of penance and purification, then God is building one hell of a big Hell. (no pun intended)
It makes no sense because we are all born into circumstances out of our control. So let's say someone is born of athiest parents and is abused horribly during their childhood, then grows up violating every one of God's commandments, then what - they are punished for eternity?
Makes no sense, this whole heaven/hell crap - it's a fairy tale.

The Comforter (Holy Spirit) sent in Jesus Christ's name is our authority who will guide us to the Truth God has "written in our hearts." The words "written in ink" and the "precepts and doctrines of men" derived from them are NOT our authority.

God hates no one. God IS agape love. There is no place in God for hate. Hate is a human weakness that Jesus refused to allow to arise in Him even through scourging and crucifixion. He loved and forgave even His torturers and murderers. Hate is anathema to Christ's Gospel and message of reconciliation and love.

Well, that is correct...stuff we were fed makes no sense....so what is the alternative...toss it!!
Of course no one is punished for eternity ...you obviously have a brain.

Yes - the alternative is 'Toss it' or just "Let it Go". What's left behind is Humaism: humanist ethics, humanist moral codes, humanist aspirations. Religion just hi-jacked this to grab authority for itself and if we 'Toss That" we have lost nothing but old myths and delusions.
Let It Go
Heh....this version is a bit longer and subtitles, just in case you thought he said 'Buttersucker'.

The Bible can be interpreted in many ways, we have 3 "official" creeds (Protestantism, Catholicism, Eastern Orthodoxy) and dozens of fringe groups, each of them who believe they are in the possession of truth.
Well, the Bible states that Hell is a permanent separation of God. It does not say every lasting torture. Hell is the second death.
Separation from God sounds fine to me. It's been fine for me whilst i was living; should be good when I'm dead, too.
