What can I say? Some of us are gullible and need someone to follow.
This already qualifies as a Movement. A few more and we will have a Cult. Marinade for a few years, gaining the respectable patina of age, and it may become a Religion. By that time, Fishbrains will be spelled with a capital "F" and we will have forgotten the true circumstances of these humble beginnings.
I'm starting to see how this works............
Are you suggesting I'm not gullible?!? Insult after insult...
I will be glad to be on the ground floor of this movement, but I want to stay and listen a little longer before I begin to spread the word. No doubt there is something very real happening here, but the fishbrains thing is still holding me back some. Maybe when spelled with a capital "F" but I don't know, and by then who knows what life-of-its-own the movement will have taken?
I have engaged with IWMN via DM. Two messages each so far. Nothing unusual to report, just preliminary discussions on the validity of Kalam and questions on my part as to how it leads to the conclusion that a cause=creator, much less Christianity.
I am also baffled why a person would prefer to engage via DM vs forum, but people all have their own preferences, and in my current state of sheltering at home, I have a bit of time on my hands to indulge.
Here are 3 reasons...
1. if a person is willing to engage via DM it's more likely that they are actually interested in a genuine conversation
2. engaging in the R&S forum comes with a large amount of distractions, insults and ridicule, therefore DM is a more efficient and civil experience
3. a public forum is more combative because the ego is more easily enaged -- the result being a more impersonal and defensive, unproductive exchange

Less likely. They are hiding their arguments from others to claim that a non-productive discussion was 'productive', or to even claim a false victory.

You are also responsible for the insults and ridicule.

You have been exposed to logic, mathematics, science and history. To pretend that was not productive is false.
