Well, to a Christian, the Bible is clear that there is only one God:
Deuteronomy 4:39 Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the LORD he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else.
IMO, gender is something that is only for this life and is irrelevant in heaven.

Agreed, and doesn't the Bible teach that "God is spirit"? I don't think there will be any gender associated with that but we are instructed to see Him as Father....so...

Exactly. And also Jesus became incarnate as a male. The man was created first in creation. For these reasons, I view God in somewhat of a "male" persona even though I agree that Spirit really has no gender attached it would seem.

Right.. I was thinking this way too, that for this life we see God as our "Father", since these are "human terms" we can all grasp...
IMO God is neither..He created man and woman..I don't think in his image necessarily meant physical attributes..or maybe so.....I don't stress about it because it has nothing to do with salvation... except to know that He is the creator, and to know His instructions on how to be reconciled to him

Thanks to you all for your thoughts.
I have always viewed God as a male but also wondered if there is a female side or a Goddess.
I guess I like to think in "balance." God/Goddess, boy/girl,man/woman, etc. and wanted to get you alls opinion.
