89. Not to commit incest with one's daughter's daughter (Lev. 18:10) (CCN119) (Note: CC treats this and the previous as one commandment; however, Rambam treats them as two).
Not sure how much the note in parentheses really matters to anyone as compared to what these commandments are telling us to do or not do, but okay. I'll be more careful to include such notes for those who find that sort of thing of importance to them.

It's not important to me. Parts of this thread are interesting, but little to none really important. I thought you'd wonder and be curious about why one list combines them and the other doesn't or whether there are really 613 commandments or maybe fewer or more. I was wrong. 90 ...

You did get me to wondering, but I've got enough to wonder about from simply reading these commandments, and I agreed to using this list per a rabbi's recommendation early on. Do you know why one list combines them and the other doesn't?
No doubt I started wondering why there are 613 commandments quite awhile ago, given their rather repetitive and/or overlapping nature. You weren't wrong, and I sincerely appreciate whatever other learning you and others might offer up along the way. 90...
90. Not to commit incest with one's daughter (this is not explicitly in the Torah but is inferred from other explicit commands that would include it) (CCN120).
My god, incest must have been real issue back there and with back them.
In a tribal society, building a strong tribe relied on numerous healthy births. By the time it was written, people had likely figured out that genetic weaknesses occurred when family members mated.

Sadly incest still happens in tribal as well as so-called advanced societies such as America, including rape of children. Perhaps the commandments “do not commit incest” “do not rape your children” should be plastered on billboards all across America. Those ancients knew what they were doing, they had wisdom.
In the next centuries Americans will list these “commandment” billboards and will wonder on forums just like these.
