Y'all understand, that protection is referred to spiritual aspect? You do understand that, Judaic folk does not really care about matters physical? Like body and such? As they are spirits in it? And, for everything is g-d's will?

Also, if mezuzah or whatever else is made out of silver, it kills bacteria. Known bacteriostatic modality, widely used in wound care. No need to sanitize anything.
If you do not have mezuzah available, you can place 2 dry spiky plants on either side of door jamb. Like dry thistle heads. Works same way - creates barrier preventing "bad" from coming in.
Why does all this smell of paganry?
According to the Chabad site (link) the Mezuzah that is practically ubiquitous these days at Jewish households (when I was growing up not so much) has the "power...to protect from harm and to prolong one’s life."
Query, could a Mezuzah supplement the coming Covid vaccines? A lot of people urgently want to know.
