I think that having to endure the angels continuously singing God's praises day and night would drag down the reviews somewhat.

The Spirit of God reports that Heaven is bliss, or complete eternal joy

Actually, true.
After the death state, referred to, as "heaven", is state of complete happiness for Self. Whatever that might be, as everyone is different. Some may like hut in the forest by small quiet lake. Some may prefer palace dripping with ornaments and exquisite artwork. Some may be happy raising cattle.
To each of his own.

No problem because those resurrected to Heaven (people like those of Luke 22:28-30; Daniel 7:18) have two (2) jobs to do.
Two (2) jobs according to Revelation 5:9-10
1st they will govern with Jesus as being kings.
2nd they will serve with Jesus as being priests.

As kings they will help take care of governmental responsibilities towards people living on Earth.
As priests they will take care of spiritual duties towards people living on Earth.

Towards the humble, mild and meek people who will inherit the Earth as Jesus promised - Matthew 5:5; Psalm 37:9-11.
This starts at the soon coming ' time of separation ' on Earth as found at Matthew 25:31-33,37

Resurrected to 'heaven' or rather resurrected back to live life on ' earth '.
Jesus promised ' earth ' for the majority of mankind - Matthew 5:5; Psalm 37:9-11.
A beautiful paradisical Earth as described in Isaiah 35th chapter.
Jesus will subdue enemies - Psalm 110
Such subdoing will bring relief for us on earth:
* Peace on Earth among people of goodwill - Isaiah 54:13; Micah 4:3-4
* Relief in the form of a healthy environment for us - Isaiah 33:24; Revelation 22:2
* Happiness in meaningful work - Isaiah 65:22-23
* Even an end to ' enemy death ' on earth for us - 1st Corinthians 15:26; Isaiah 25:8

P.S. Speaking of cattle or live stock please notice what I found at Isaiah 30:23 B.

Hm. I wonder if that would include indulging in some of the Seven Deadly Sins.

Those 7 categories that God hates found at Proverbs 6:16-19, there is No reason to think those wrongs will be there.
Remember: the wicked will be ' destroyed forever ' - Psalm 92:7; Psalm 104:35; Proverbs 2:21-22.

What I find is described ^ above ^ is Not Heaven but Earth, a beautiful paradisical Earth as Eden was a sample.
An Earth as described at the 35th chapter of Isaiah.
Yes, everyone is different, and those few called to Heaven have two (2) jobs to perform.
According to the Bible, those called to Heaven will reign with Jesus for a thousand years.
They will serve mankind, those resurrected on Earth and those already living on Earth.
According to Rev. 5:9-10 they will serve mankind in the capacity of kings and priests.
Kings to take care of governmental responsibilities towards people living on Earth forever.
Priests to take care of spiritual duties toward people living forever on Earth.

That's the start of the problem. To survive (let alone enjoy) anything for eternity would require anything that is recognisable 'You' to be removed. The 'promise' (if it ever paid out) would essentially go to someone - or Something, rather - else.

I have come to the conclusion that Oblivion (what the Buddhists call Nirvana) is the only afterlife option that is desirable.

I know that people instinctively fear dying, but I just find that this is not good enough reason to invent fairy tales about living forever.
