Why should we waste time listening to this Joe Blow with arms crossed, standing in front of a mic in a room of people? I know I've got better things to do. The planet is populated with fools, and he just might be another example. Nothing would be new there. I doubt he's earned some special right to 15 minutes of fame, so I'm not giving him 15 seconds.
And if this guy claims to be a Christian, and states heinous things, what would you say to opposite: an self-proclaimed atheist who says slavery should be re-instituted and is a beautiful thing? Whoopdy doo. At the end of the day it's just a person with foolish ideas. It doesn't mean they represent anything other than his or her self.

The reason is because this attitude is still wide spread, and it's harmful.
No one can, nor should, defend this type of talk. No one.
It matters that it be called out, whenever it occurs, rather than ignoring it.

Then blame the evil and malice in them, that belongs to them and their bogus and insane churches. They're not representing anything genuine of Jesus and Christianity. And if you're not sure what's genuine or not, get clear on that before grouping everyone together aimlessly and maliciously.

Racist talk is one thing, and it happens right here in CD. If you deny racism exists, you are racist. This is a fact.
Just because he says Jesus said this, why are you not asking for proof?
Black People have adopted Jesus as their savior and to deliver them from slavery. The whole movement for civil rights began in Christian churches. Nobody told them Jesus supports slavery.
What side was the guy on? Was he pointing out that jesus was wrong for saying it? what was the rest of the guys case?
