I don't think I would tell anyone. I might write some letters, though.

I'd make sure the family finances are as straight as I can make them in one day. But mostly I would putter around in my back yard. If it was my day to work out, that's what I would do.

Just 24 hours to live? Peggy Lee would just keep on dancing, break out the booze and have a ball.

A no brainer.

I would be doing drugs all day playing xbox alone, I wouldn't want to be around anyone.

Honestly, I would have me a great last day free of pain.

Just hang around home enjoying the simple things like watering the garden, or digging yet another hole. Hopefully family are all there.

On the 23rd hour, I would head up to the ridge, with the dog, a coffee and a joint - hopefully this would coincide with sunset on a clear day.

There's a particular spot on this earth where I want to end my days.
It's a spot on the beach on the South coast of England where the sunsets are always amazing.
I feel completely at peace there.
I'd gather my family there. Crack open a few beers. Bring some blankets, a flask of tea, light a fire, collect some shells.
Bliss. And wait for the sun to go down.

As a reality, most people in that situation will be 'dying' and will be in the hospital and/or hospice.

I disagree with your point that it's a gift not knowing.

I would like to know. 5, 15, 30 years? It would greatly influence how I lived out the remainder of my life.

In the highly hypothetical situation that I had perfect health and a 'day to live', I'd probably ...

-Buy an expensive car or motorcycle
-Visit my parents
-Go on a really nice hike
-Play my guitar
-Eat a good lunch of my choosing
-Talk to my sister and a few friends
-Hang out with my girlfriend and have dinner
-Hopefully have one more nice dream...
