I believe that Truth exists. I also believe that God, who is Ultimate Truth, has created a world in which it is possible to discover Truth. It's our duty to seek it out; and if we seek it, we will find it.
Our beliefs should change over time as they gradually conform to belief in what is True.
There are some truths that are evident, like science, math, etc. There are other truths that are subjective like beliefs, how we look at life, if God exists, and if so, which God, how do we as individuals define God, etc. It's a journey for all of us for sure. The main thing is that we try to love each other, be kind, compassionate, understanding. I fail a lot at those things, but these are the things that keep me awake at night and make me want to strive to be a better person, whatever that is.
Not to go too far off topic, but thinking about what has happened here in the U.S. in the last few months, weeks and days, the lives that have been irreparably changed, the decisions that we need to make as a nation, and seeing how division has all but eaten us alive makes me really stop and think. I just hope at some point it gets better, though I'm not really confident that it will. I guess the best we can do is be cognizant of our shortcomings and try to remedy those as we can.
Islam is the dividing line. That religion seeks to be the government to me. If they would change that I would be more open to it.
Muslims are fine with Democracy wherever they live. American Muslims are not clamoring for an islamic state. These kinds of statements are not just ignorant they creat ignorance and hate.

I found a new way of looking at it. I came up with it as way to deal with the hypocrisy and outright lunacy of my former group but it works universally.
Have you ever seen the show Impractical Jokers? If you haven't its a few guys that dare each other to do humiliating things in public. I just pretend these people are on the show but only they don't have the self awareness to know they are embarrassing themselves.
I have to admit. I just don't know enough about this. I might not know enough to know I am wrong.
You can rest assured Arach, you weren't the cause of L8's nasal ejaculation.
ETA: You have the honesty to admit when you might be mistaken. Some don't.
