How does one 'yank the chains' of someone who is a willing participant?! and who's stopping anyone from researching for themselves?
People that disagree with a position typically think that stating that position is "yanking".

They feel that stating "what is" to be "yanking chains"...if it is stating what they do not prefer.
They especially think that noting a great human proclivity for being God Believers and into prayer, to be "yanking their chains"...because they do not prefer that and are biased against it.

It's a new phenomenon that we have seen more and more in this country in the past 4 years -- doesn't matter if something is right or wrong, good or bad...just keep saying it as if it is true and good.
