Nor is it evidence, much less proof.
Try a new tack, as the one you are currently one keeps running you aground.
Yes it is.
I submit: It is a fact that Dictionaries formally & validly provide the data/info of the meanings/definitions of words & terms. That is what Dictionaries are for!
One of the more ignorantly obstinate things I ever seen is that being disputed.
But if you have evidence to refute that...put it up.
What is really "ridiculous" is that supposedly academically and scientifically inclined people would actually argue the merit of dictionaries to formally & validly provide the data/info of the meanings/definitions of words & terms. One of the more ignorantly obstinate things I ever seen.
Y'all are so desperate and overcome by your Godophobia (Arach is right...I think you are all damaged and scarred people) you would proffer such a ignorant and unreasonable argument.
Why not the formal definitions/meanings? What is the logical bias against that?
I know! Because you don't like that it refutes your claims!
As far as how God has been defined throughout human history...what do think "God" was to people before the advent of the Religions y'all rely on for the only manifestation of God that you accept. Humans have been around for a lot longer than a few thousand years. "History" actually works against your argument.
Once you stop misrepresenting the different definitions as if your cherry picked section is the definition, then you will see the logical flaw in this particular argument of yours.

Got ANY evidence. We've all read you non-evidentiary definitions, which mean nothing. What we want is the proof you say you have, but keep hidden from us. Share, buddy, share.

How can it be, since there are numerous definitions. They can't ALL be proof.
I suggest you step away from your lunacy and give it a re-think.
Formal evidence please.
I've educated you on it...or, at least tried to. I put forth the formal substantiation.
If you know better...get the formal evidence and educate me otherwise.
Let's see it. Not just unsubstantiated declarations. Anyone can do that...especially people with no evidence to back them.

The many, many more people who who NOT define God the way you do. Or the ultimate reality. You need more than what some people define God as.

wait for the ad populum argument ... well, until you use it and say far more people believe in something (higher power of some sort), then they will say you can't use it. well, until they need it of course.
man, I better get on reciting that creed. don't think ...recite creed ...

They are proof of all the formal meanings of the word/term "G-O-D" (God spelled out).
Now...we look to find things that objectively exist that comports with any of these meanings...they may or may not.
If anything does objectively exist that comports...you now have a objectively existing God Entity.
That's how the meanings of word/terms, and if they denote objectively existing things, works in this world.
Maybe nobody ever educated you to this...so I did you the favor.

There you go with the condescending BS. You just can't stop.
You've educated NOBODY, least of all yourself, who remains profoundly and PROUDLY ignorant.
BTW, you're the one with the outlandish position that needs evidence to stand. Evidence that remains absent in the extreme.
Now it's time to put-up or shut-up. I know you'll do neither, and the show will continue.

Even ad populum can't save them here!
Most people believe Dictionaries to be probative for providing the meanings/definitions of words.
The best they could do is a popular appeal to cherry-pick just one specific meaning (Religious Deity), and redact all the rest. Which, of course, is their only fall-back...because they know they are stuck and have no valid rebuttal.
But just let me note Atheism as, "the doctrine that there is no Gods"...and they immediately break out the "Lack Belief" Dictionary definitions!
