No, no war. Just usual dissent and difference of opinion. Just because people disagree and even fuss, doesn't mean it's a war.
Go participate in a real war, and then come back and say they belong in the same category, with the same name.
People are really getting sloppy with words and thought. And the "emotion" card is being thrown down like never before. Screaming for attention? Just say something's a "War against _______", and see the armchair soldiers awaken, heartbeats and adrenalin rise, and the sides / lines drawn. A nation of Pavlov's dogs. And thinking is being drawn down as well to the level of dogs.
