I will not debate the quality diversity in University degrees, Phet. That is unavoidable in human systems, but what I said is true for those Ph.D. programs that legitimately apply the qualification standards.

My parents immigrated to this country before I was born. My mother couldn't speak a word of English...
To this day, my mother still has a heavy accent that some people simply can't get past. Her writing of English isn't too bad all considered, but she would never get past some of the grammar nitpickers in this forum. About this too we are all with different education and ability. "Don't sweat the small stuff" and every now and then we might actually get back to the topic of the thread!

One thing I learned very quickly in this and other forums is that the actual, practical definition of 'logic' is 'my opinion is'.
That is the start of expressing one's logic, but for some people, if you don't immediately agree, they fall apart.
