When I'm awed by the beauty and design of created things, when I experience unselfish and unconditional love, when i laugh so hard it hurts, when i listen to good music,....
I catch a dim blurry glimpse.

Odd that this is fine in heaven but a cause for pearl-clutching and slippery-slope concerns here in the real world. Probably because in heaven it is only the Worthy who will be present. In this life, we have to prevent the Unworthy from getting anything, the little stinkers!
Interesting perspective about heaven being viewed as a charity in this way. Didn't think of it being like that. In my house, these are called guests and they only last about 3 days.

Thanks for pointing out Mordant's post. I missed it but it brought up an interesting idea. In my sect, and maybe you we saw some of the same things, is there was a notion of earning salvation. So maybe they justify it by saying "I deserve it and others don't.". In my group they called it "right heart condition.". Underserved Grace was a reward.

I wish then that you will demonstrate humor, rather than combat. So much more inviting for a discussion. Words trump emojis.

You are always full of some interesting sayings. I don't always get the full depth of their meaning, but they sure are are colorful. Great talent.

I wouldn't desire to hold hands with a hand full of crap.

Honestly, I didn't test his theory either. He should have married Amber.
