The thing is that pacifism generally goes against human instinct. When a human (or any other animal) detects danger he either fights or flees, but he would not just stand there and allowed himself to be beaten to a pulp.
Just because he is actively resisting non-violently.

True but so? Maybe if you broaden the situation enough so that the "danger" can apply to finding a cougar but in this situation It'd never even occur to me to think of them as madmen.

The simple logic is that if you run, they will keep chasing you and others like you forever. If you fight it will just makes matters worse.
Then if take into account:

-that the others involved are sentient reasoning being
-that globally people who are willing to die for the pursuit of peace gain unbelievable amounts of sympathy
-In history those who have lived and even died that way have created shifts in the Zeitgeist meaning they were successful

I'd say pacifism is logical and works.

To Quote Mahatma Ghandi's simple yet deep words:

"An eye for an eye will make the whole world blind."

A cougar does not act like humans do, so when you run a cougar might classify you as prey but if you stand and fight he might attack you for thinking that you are a threat. Standing still and doing nothing might go either way, because some prey stand still and act as if they are dead.
Anywayz, a cougar does not suppress humanity like the British suppressed the Indians.
Unfortunately pacifism is often seen as cowardice or being compliant.
Most people (especially 'macho' men) can't stand the thought of being called a coward or being submissive ( which often is associated with women).

That pacifism is generally regarded as lunacy by the masses.
That only the philosophy of pacifism is seen as valuable, but it generally is never practiced in reality.
Because it takes true faith to practice pacifism.

And we all know that God is eternal therefore does not change, otherwise the NT would contradict the OT which would make the Bible seem insane.

If the bible isnt meant to be taken literally then you will have millions who will interpret what the bible means to themselves. Thus this is what is indeed is happening.Thereby making the bible the most irrelevant book out in the know world. You would think if the bible was the inherrent and perfect word of this perfcet god anyone with a functioning brain would interpret it AS IS and there would be no other interpretaion just the books own.either god isnt perfect and thus not god or there never was one to begin with.

Nah, only people with absolutely no imagination at all need a perfect God.
