I spent a few days in Coastal North Carolina this week, and saw this behavior way to often. This is a joke, but I think a statement on conditions we all see in our everyday lives.

On a bright sunny day a young woman was driving her SUV down a city street.

In front of her was a car driven by an man doing the speed limit.

He signaled to turn left, slowing to make the turn and stopping to avoid the oncoming cars.

The young woman started blowing the horn, slamming on the brakes sliding sideways toward the car. She continued giving hand gestures and cursing from the opened window. The man waved and made his safe turn, which only angered the woman more resulting in more cursing.

Behind the SUV a policeman turned on his lights, and the woman still angry bound from the SUV. He drew his gun and told her to lay flat on the ground. He than handcuffed her and read her the Miranda rights, put her in his patrol car and took her to jail.

The next morning he came in and said there had been a mistake and she was to be released.

She asked why she had been arrested in the first place now returning to the low level of rage she used while driving.

He told her she was suspected of being a car thief. I saw the bumper stickers which read “Follow Me to My Church, “God Bless You”, “Christ is King”, “My Copilot is God”, and “Peace”. I felt sure the SUV was STOLEN.

This is essentially the story showing that the religious are not necessarily moral or nice. It is also a story showing how profiling and assumptions can drastically mislead.

If I am a Christian, I shouldn't have to show it by a bumper sticker.

(altho none of us is perfect, and we all have "bad days"....)

My wife always tells me to announce it is a joke before I tell what I think is funny.

I forgot to do it this time. Sorry, but this was suppose to be funny and nothing other than a joke.
