Seems to look that way! I'll keep prayin' for you though. Even and atheist can see the light.
Seriously though, the actual verse the OP is referring to is John 14:2. Doesn't really say anything about mansions...although I've heard that analogy a lot in Christian circles.
Hoosier,
In my Rye Study bible it says In My Fathers house are many mansions:if it were not so I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you I will come again and receive you to Myself that where I am there you may be also. Verse 23 says he will make his home with us.
This may be where the OP is getting this from or another translation.

Yes I've read this translation also. 1 Corinthians 2:9 "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love Him".
When we went to North Carolina for the first time and I saw the beauty, one of my first thoughts was wow, God gave us so much beauty to enjoy on earth, I can't imagine how much more beautiful Heaven will be!

Jesus was actually talking about God's heart, because everyone knows that your home can only be there where the heart is. That home is not just a physical place.
So was Jesus talking about the fact that God's heart is big enough for everyone or is it only big enough for the Christians?
And heaven is way better than Paris. Though i've never been to Paris, so i am a bit biased.
godspeed,
