There's a reason the early Church had no problem combining both the Gospels and Paul's letters into one cohesive New Testament. When read in light of each other, they harmonize just fine.
Except they do not harmonize. Acts contradicts Paul's incomplete letters, Matthew 'corrects' Mark, Luke tries to harmonize, and John reorganizes what the other gospels wrote.

The first 4 gospel canon was probably collected to combat Marcion, despite the textual problems. Once the 5 easy to remember stories (the gospels and Acts) were in, it is unlikely they would be removed (although they were updated).
Paul neither wrote any of the gospels, nor did he refer to them, or a woman called Mary. Paul uses the word he used for manufacture of Adam (another not born man), and our spiritual bodies he claimed are waiting in heaven for us.
He MAY have meant born, but it is still very strange to change the idiom the way he did.
It only seems strange because you reject the existence of our spiritual Self which resides in Heaven (as a BEC) waiting for us to be "born again" upon the death of our physical body (Spiritual Womb). We are NOT this physical body.
I'm not sure what you're implying; but "the media" is not a divine institution founded by Christ and promised divine protection.
First off, only catholics see the catholic church as an institution founded by christ. And I think it's very questionable how many catholics actually believe that as well.
But what you pointed out was that MEN -- not god -- made decisions about what to put into or leave out of the bible. They were making these decisions behind closed doors, so to speak. I don't trust them at all.

And you shouldn't trust them! But the "mind of Christ" (properly understood) IS trustworthy as the standard of truth about the " mind of God," IMO.

The New Testament is books and letters written to the first Christians. The Christian believers to whom the books and letters were written to is what determined these books as scripture.

That's not true at all. It's an historical fact acknowledged by any objective observer. Just ask Alexa who founded the Catholic Church. Even Wikipedia says it. It's commonly understood.

Of course it was men who decided these things - men who were being guided and protected by the Holy Spirit. Whether you trust them or not is your choice.

No, it's not a historical objective fact. It's a belief.
