This song Green Grass and High Tides, by the Outlaws brings me back to when I was 11 years old. I caught a ride to the festival at the park in the next town over. I walked around with an older friend for a while who knew the guy that gave us a ride. I bought some acid and took that, and then went out in the field where the people from my neighborhood had a gathering going and drinking beer and smoking pot.

When it got late the cops made us leave because it was getting a bit wild. I caught a ride home in the bed of a truck, and the guy who owned the truck was very drunk and the cops wouldn't let him drive, and this other guy convinced the cops that he was straight enough to drive. Well he went down the highway 100 miles an hour and I was in the bed of the truck with two 18 year olds, and one of them was standing up and holding onto the roll bar and when we went through an intersection he pulls down his pants and I can't write what he was yelling. Me and the other guy were rolling around laughing.

Then we went to the gas station near where I live and the parking lot was full of cars and people partying. The guy whose truck I rode back in had a rockin' stereo. And I remember listening to this song
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r2UEqMxcspw and then I walked on home at 3 am.

This is a good song too. Kid Rock- Born Free

I enjoy both those songs lyrically and musically.

Here is a song/story about Crazy Horse. It is 20 minutes long. It's called- The Song of Crazy Horse/Ride Away. By JD Blackfoot.

The song might get taken down, hopefully it won't. It is the studio version with all the instruments.

I like this thread, because now when I come here and read, and people are arguing, I can just go to this thread and listen to the music. Which reminds me of another song by the Doobie Brothers...
