We're not all going to play for the Miami Dolphins, no.

Even if all the ice on the planet melted, the water level would rise approximately 230 feet. So we'd still have all the land above that elevation level. Which is most of it.

The east coast and gulf coastal plain area of the US would be about the only area really affected in this country. We'd lose Florida, Louisiana, and parts of a few southern states.

But the probably bigger issue in that event would be the average global temperatures.

Being an atheist requires a leap of faith. Its just that many of you refuse to acknowledge it.
No, atheism is based on what we know (subconsciously or not).

Home goal. Apply this argument to your god. How did a complex, all knowing, all powerful god just exist? One can not assert that a god just existed and then pretend existence just existing is an improbable leap of faith.

Only in the West. In China (with a larger population), Christianity did not become prominent until much later, only to start losing to Islam after a few centuries.

Probably. But as atheism is not believing religious claims, there is nothing in atheism to say how atheists should behave. No dogma, no scripture, usw. So the fundamentalism would not be based on atheism (as religious fundamentalism is based on religion), atheist fundamentalism would be based on out group morality, which is a problem with any group identity.

It is a subtle but important difference.

In an infinite existence, everything that is possible will eventually happen. But if something just being perfect is a problem for you, bang goes your god hypothesis.

Well god is said to hate sin. I think hate and hatred are two different things also. Hate is just a strong dislike and morally neutral. Hatred is actively wishing harm or wanting to attack and is an immature response to a real (or often just perceived) threat.

The OP talks about there being one god. That is not a profession of atheism; from the post, I gather that s/he's one of those who claim to be 'anti-organized religion'. Reading comprehension is something I wish natural selection had more generously gifted this species.

Are you trying to convince me that I'm wrong or are you trying to convince yourself that I'm wrong?

Your responses don't speak of someone who spent their career in education...

“Thou mayest choose for thyself, for it is given unto thee” (Moses 3:17)

God gave you the choice to reject him.

He also gave you the ability to change your mind, too.
