Cirbryn is a pen name I had in college. It's a rough translation of my real name into Welsh and Sindarin (Tolkien elvish). It basically means "valley-hill".

LOL....probably cause it's easy to remember?

I started a whole thread on my SN because there were so many "assumptions" made about it.

The OP explains it all.

Day of the Lord...It's more than a Screen Name

I picked mine because I LOVE North Carolina!!! I'd rather be there than anywhere in the world, especially right now.

I'm neither big.. nor thirsty..

I thought it was appropriate. Actually gave myself the name when McDonalds came out with the Big N' Tasty. LT teases me for giving myself my own nickname..

I like cleatis because it's unsuspecting. People probably imagine toothless hillbilly, or a drunk. I think it's a funny name also.

"Most folk'll never loose a toe, but then again some folk'll like cleatis the slack jawel yokel"

I called myself Tricky D because I'm a fan of Richard Nixon...........not.
My friends call me Tricky and sometimes a dick ( and my real name isn't even Richard).
Sometimes my lady friends call me a dick because I'm honest and it doesn't matter to me if I'm talking to a man or a woman.
So my lady friends either learned not to ask me questions like if their pants make them look fat etc or the friendship might end real soon.

I actually only wanted to call myself D but it was too short so I added Tricky to it.
I had decided to shorten my name to D because I love to play the devil's advocate and because D makes the name more mysterious which attracts the honeys like flies to a piece of D(ung).
Or maybe I shortened it to D because I'm as hard as a piece of D(iamond) and we all know that D(iamonds) are a girl's best friend.
Or maybe I called myself D because like D(on) Quixote I always fight (Dutch) windmills.
Or maybe it is D(on) Juan, cauz like him I'm a real playa.
Or maybe its all the above.

Or maybe its none of the above and I'm really a fan of reporters Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein.
Or maybe I'm their source Deep Throat?
In my imagination I always have a deeply masculine voice.
I guess we can all agree that I haven't chosen Tricky D at random.
