A guy just rode by on his motorcycle without a helmet. Should I call the cops? He could get killed. AND worse than that, he is setting a bad example for the children.
We often water the lawn on the wrong day too. Usuaully we just don't bother watering at all. But sometimes, we just can't help ourselves. It must be a sickness to want to do something illegal like that.

Shame, shame on you Padgett, for breaking all those laws Good to see you again
Recently I've discovered that my neighbor gambles illegally online. I feel like I should report this to the authorities, however, my wife feels that it is none of our business.
I'm a Christian and morally opposed to gambling and feel it's a waste of money, however it comes down to personal choice. If you want to fly out to Vegas and throw away your money that is your decision.
However, Online gambling I have a huge issue with. It's 100% illegal. Kids can be exposed to it and I've heard horror stories of people losing everything after their child got online and found an online gaming site. Terrorism and drug criminals also use these sites to launder money.
My biggest issue is the fact that I know that my neighbor is breaking the law and I feel it would be wrong for my not to notify the police.
Should I report this guy or just let it go?
I can't help but wonder if you're prepared to take down the license plate number of every car you see running a red light or speeding on the highway.
EDIT: **Mental note to self....start reading all responses before posting your own. I'm just repeating what others have written already.**

If I found out a neighbor was involved in child pornography I'd have the cops there so fast it would make his head swim but online gambling, no way, that's petty and I'll bet even the police would think it was a waste of their time.
1. You stated you're a Christian then please state where in the bible does it say that GAMBLING is wrong? I'll give you to eternity since it's not there. I would recommend you research what 'casting lots' means.
2. The bible does however teach...
16 Do not be overrighteous,
neither be overwise— why destroy yourself?
This means to go beyond righteousness. God has called you to be righteous..not overly righteous
I wouldn't be surprised if the neighbor wants to hang you after he finds out what you did. You need to pray for this man, and preach to him.
3. If you dont like the idea of him funding money for terrorism then you need to stop using American dollars or any currency. All currency funds gambling, abortions, murders, wars, drugs, etc.
The bible teaches to love your neighbor as thyself.
Will you report yourself if you committed sin?
Did you tell your wife everytime you lusted after a woman?
Did you report yourself everytime you ran a stop sign? or 'rolled' right through one?
If I might clarify something here....casting lots isn't really the same as gambling. It's more akin to flipping a coin or drawing straws in order to determine how something should be decided, or divided.
Head or tails?
You get tails, and you'll get _____
Let's draw straws....longest straw will win you this _____, and loser will get this _____
Blackjack
You get 21, and you get 500 bucks...you dont get it and you'll lose 100.
1.to play at any game of chance for money or other stakes.2.to stake or risk money, or anything of value, on the outcome of something involving chance: to gamble on a toss of the dice.
