The Prophet Mahammad (peace_be_upon_him) said:

There is no prophet between me and him, that is,
jesus (peace_be_upon_him).
He will descent (to the earth).
When you see him, recognise him:
a man of medium height,
reddish fair,
wearing two light yellow garments,
looking as if drops were falling down from his head though it will not be wet.
He will fight the people for the cause of Islam.
He will break the cross,
kill swine, and abolish jizyah.
Allah will perish all religions except Islam.
He will destroy the Antichrist and will live on the earth for forty years and then he will die.
The Muslims will pray over him.

(Book #37, Hadith #4310)

Would you still call him a prophet if he lied?

The AntiChrist isn't a person, nor even ONE person.
The AntiChrist is a religion. Wonder which one?
Any ideas?

I'm a practitioner of neither Christianity nor Islam, but I've got to say--that's one forthright prophecy, there! "Jesus will fight the people for the cause of Islam." I wonder what Mohammed had for breakfast the day he came up with that?

Now....either Jesus is lying, and was not divine, or he is and islam is wrong. If he's lying, then islam calls a liar a prophet.

Which is it?

Actually--he did. In John 10 he equated himself with God--to the point that the staunchly monotheistic Jews were ready to stone him

In John 14 he states that he is the way, the truth, and the life.

In John 20, Thomas calls him his "God". Jesus certainly never denied it.

In Revelation He called himself the Alpha and Omega. Later on, he's worshiped in chapter 5.

He also called himself the Messiah--and Isaiah 9 states the Messiah is "Mighty God".

So which is it? Is islam wrong about the divinity of Christ? Or are they wrong for calling a liar a prophet?
