Earlier this month Muslim medical students in London distributed leaflets that dismissed Darwin's theories as false. Evangelical Christian students are also increasingly vocal in challenging the notion of evolution.

Maybe not. In poorer areas, these people are converting faster than others can educate about evolution. Hopefully, more converts are ok with evolution than with creationism.

Thankfully, the way the world is headed, science will be important for kids to learn and become competitive as they will compete with a world class labor pool. This may force people to rethink reality and religion-based "science", unless they want a job as a fundie-type priest or mullah.

TRUE Christians have no problems living or getting along with Muslims. We dont agree about religion, but any true Christian hates the sin, loves the sinner, regardless. Its the radicals on both sides of the front that are NOT reading their Bibles or Qur'ans properly. End of story. Jesus teaches love. He was sinless. He taught us to love one another, not to kill or hold grudges or hate our neighbors. Jesus has all your answers.

I think we all can see two thousand years of history which don’t match your view. The problem mentioned in the OP is related to rejection of accepted knowledge. Lack of education and the desire to live (or hide) in myths continue to propagate the endless killings, distrust, and atrocities committed in the name of one god or the other.

As long as religion exists in the world there will always be wars and bloodshed happening in the name of God. That's a guarantee.
