SO...I should be grateful to Christianity? What about the 6 million that were murdered in the middle of the last century--should they be grateful? Their families?

"Religious freedom" is irrelevant if you are dead.

This land had freedom of religion before the European Christian ever set foot on it. It wasn't until after the European Christian came to this land that religious intolerance existed here.

That is good for you and no one is trying to make you change your position.

And that had what exactly to do with Christianity? And are you suggesting that it could compete with the 100 million dead from atheistic communism?

Most of the founding fathers were Christian. They certainly weren't muslims.

You would think that they would've not have tolerated (or even participated in) slavery. Go figure.

I will say this to you. The founding fathers also practiced slavery(well George Washington and Thomas Jefferson anyway). It is hypocritical that they spoke of freedom for all and practiced slavery themselves. Muslims also had some slavery. The Arabs started the slave trade in Africa. Persons of many religions have practiced slavery.
