I completely disagree with your contention that research which provides us with such fascinating insights into human psychology is a waste of money. Ultimately, you could argue that any scientific research (or any other human endeavour - be it artistic, philosophical, mathematical, etc, etc) is also a waste. That is obviously a ridiculous contention. So where do you want to draw the line?
Do you have anything of interest to add to this discussion or can you only offer up overly simplistic (and fallacious) criticism?
